India Win the ICC World Cup 2011

The ICC World Cup 2011 was just completed on 02-April-2011. This World cup final is played between India and Sri Lanka. India Win the ICC World Cup 2011 beat Sri Lanka by 6 Wickets. In the beginning Sri Lanka Win the Toss and Elected to Bat First. Sri Lanka start their innings with very slow. But gradually they build the innings into a strong manner. Sri Lankan Batsman Mahela Jayawerdene made his Century and unbeaten at 103. As Sri Lanka provide 275 target to chase because Sri Lanka team made 274 runs in their allotted 50 overs.

India started their innings in a bed manner because in the first over of Indian innings Virender Sehwag out on the Second Ball of the first over. It is big shock for India. The First wicket was taken by Latish Malinga. He again give another break through when he taken Sachin Tendulkar wicket. India team in big trouble. From their Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli built the Indian innings. After the fall of Virat Kohli wicket Mahender Singh Dhoni came to bat. Unfortunately Gautam Gambhir out in 97 Run. He fail to make his century. But Mahender Singh Dhoni made 91 run not out and finish the innings by big six. This world cup is dedicated to Little Master Sachin Tendulkar.
